As a designer I love looking at other designers work and getting inspired. The great thing about the interview in the link above is that there are hand drawn works where you can see the process of his designs and how he got to the final logos. It’s really interesting. It takes some doing to get to a truly iconic logo, and to communicate a brand visually with one image. Mr. Manoogian is the top of the field in my opinion and that holds true once you see his work.
